CAST IN ORDER OF APPEARANCE
Jan Greasley -
Magnolia , Queen of Flowers
This is Jan's first part playing a main character with her
singing in the chorus for the past seven years. Jan has never done any other
acting apart from panto. Favourite character that she has played is 'Cabin Boy'
and Dick Whittington is her favourite panto.
Yvonne Daniel -
Toadstulia, Witch of the Wood
Yvonne is a veteran of Chirk Panto with her appearing in
the very first production of 'Cinderella' in 1994. She started in the chorus
before moving onto playing characters and has only missed one production since
then. Favourite characters played are one of the ugly sisters and king rat, with
Beauty and the Beast' her favourite pant
Cerys Reynolds -
Andy
Cerys is another ever present in Chirk
panto with her only missing two of the sixteen productions to date. Cerys enjoys
the adrenalin rush and seeing people laugh and describes it all as
'unforgettable'! Her worst moment is when she gave the plot away in Cinderella
after forgetting her lines. Her favourite characters played are Button's and
Idle Jack.
Josh Williams -
Prince Romano
This is Josh's first panto performance
with him describing his 'best moment in panto' as 'home time!' Josh's worst
moment to date is saying, `Hello, my name is Prince Miranda'. His favourite
character is 'Hunky' and panto Aladdin.
Pat Owens -
Gypsy Rose Cohen
Pat has appeared in Chirk Panto since the first one in
Chirk Ceiriog School in 1994 and has enjoyed everyone. Her worst moment to date
is falling over a campfire in front of the audience whilst on stage. Her
favourite character and panto is `Constance the ugly sister' and Cinderella.
Graham Greasley -
Mother Hood
Graham always enjoys the comedy parts of
any panto. Playing one of the ugly sisters with Pat Owen singing 'Man, I feel
like a woman' sticks in his memory. Graham always enjoys playing the `Dame'
which he describes as `tremendous'. His favourite panto is 'Aladdin' where he
made his debut.
Lucy Whitthread -
Red Riding Hood
This is Chelmsford born Lucy's first panto apart from
starring in school plays. She is playing her favourite character in Red Riding
Hood. She has no 'worst moments' to date and is loving the whole panto
experience.
Laura Ann Jones -
Mickey, a friendly mouse
Laura is another youngster who makes her
first panto appearance. Her best moment so far is going on stage and acting
while her worst is having to sing! Her favourite character is Micky and panto
Snow White.
Eirlys Cartwright -
Hunky
This is only Eirlys second panto appearance with Dick
Whittington her first role last year. She describes her best moment in panto as
her 'first night performance' whilst her worst to date is saying her lines
twice! Favourite character played is Scipper.
Sam Price -
Punky
This is Sam's ninth Chirk panto. His best
moment is singing "There's a hole in my bucket" and his worst as having to stay
sober in one of the panto parties! His favourite character and panto is Buttons
and Cinderella.
Daniel Fisher -
Baron Monsalow
Daniel has appeared in several school plays in Ysgol Dinas
Bran. He loves the general fun and great people involved in panto and has had no
`worst moments' as yet. His favourite character played is Mr Stevie Cocker (Back
to the 80's) and his favourite panto is Snow White.
Jed Machin -
Wolfbane, Toadstulia's Son
Jed has appeared in several drama
productions in school. He enjoy making people laugh while his worst panto
experience as yet is being picked on by John for not being scary enough!
Stephanie Babington -
Petunia, Baron's Daughter
Stephanie has progressed from Primary School play's and
dancing in panto to her first character role. Her favourite characters are Hunky
and Punky and Cinderella her favourite panto.
Jean Owen -
Granny
Jean is another performer who has been in Chirk panto
since the beginning. Her favourite moment is playing 'the richest Lady in
Baghdad in Ali Baba while her favourite panto is Cinderella.
